Dr. Hernandez is a Licensed Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist specializing in neuropsychological testing and maintains private practices in Lynn and Andover, MA.
With over 20 years of experience as a clinician, he has served as Director of two major pediatric departments. He was the Director of Bilingual Assessment at the Franciscan Children's Hospital in Boston, MA. and the Director of Behavioral Medicine at the North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem, MA. He is currently dedicated to private practice working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are the diagnosis of language disorders and atypical syndromes, applied behavior analysis, cognitive rehabilitation, and behavioral medicine.
In addition to being an accomplished bilingual neuropsychologist, Dr. Hernandez has presented at national and international conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. His current areas of interest center around the development of prescriptive behavioral medicine protocols to treat pediatric health conditions. In addition, he explores the contribution of a variety of neuroimaging strategies being utilize to differentially diagnose language and other higher order cognitive disorders.
